Prerna Rathod: To Light Up The World Just Ignite Your Curiosity

The 50 Tales of Discovery is an interesting book to read. It tells how curiosity, creativity, imagination and strong desire can lead to new inventions which are beneficial to the whole world. This book gives details of how different things which we use today were discovered. The stories are short and easy to understand and the person who reads it is interested in finding how things were discovered.

I liked the story of how John Walker discovered the matchstick. It was his passion that made him work hard and find an easy way to light a fire. His invention not only made his work easy, but it brought to light in other people’s life.

In the same manner, if an educator is creative and has a strong desire to help the students find different interesting ways to teach the students. This will make their lesson interesting and students will be attentive. Also, it will motivate the students to be more creative and imaginative. They will become more curious and it is this curiosity that may help them to make new inventions. Thus, their mind will always be full of new ideas and they will always be active and alert.

This situation can be depicted by the quote “Where there is a Will, there is a Way”. If you wish to invent something you can do it.
