Dr Bijaya K. Sahoo is an eminent Edupreneur who firmly believes in enriching society through the holistic grooming of a new generation of leaders. He holds to his credit a series of successful educational endeavours like SAI International School, SAI Angan, SAI International College of Commerce and SAI International Residential School.
One among the growth drivers of K-12 education in the Country, Dr Sahoo believes in consistent upgrading of self and others to align with the changing dynamics of the contemporary world. He consistently strives to address the educational needs of the students by inculcating in them a sense of curiosity, courage, and compassion. He believes in transforming young students into responsible global citizens through an amalgamation of internationalism and values embedded in an innovative curriculum.
A Chartered Accountant and an Entrepreneur with more than three decades of experience, Dr Sahoo has an in-depth understanding of various education sectors and business areas. He is also the Founder-Chairman and Promoter of JSS Consultancy Services Pvt. Ltd, the largest BPO in Banking, Financial Services, Insurance, and Telecom Sector and Founder & Chairman of JSS Software Technology Park, the first private Software Park of Odisha.
Dr Sahoo believes in delivering a high standard of education under a unified framework and works towards bringing in innovative approaches to education in India/ state from across the globe. He is the Chairperson Eastern zone of FICCI Arise. He was also appointed Member of Task Force DPE, Member of EPC, Govt. of India and Member of Board of Studies, ICAI, New Delhi. He has also been part of the National Educational Policy Maker team visiting various countries like USA and UK.
In his professional front, he is the Director of Allahabad Bank, Director of Hindustan Shipyard Limited, Board Member of Central Electricity Supply Utility (CESU) and Member of Shri Jagannath Temple, Managing Committee.
Dr Sahoo is a qualified Chartered Accountant, Cost Accountant, MBA, Law Graduate and holds a PhD in commerce. He is also a Harvard alumnus, having completed several courses at the prestigious Harvard School of Education, USA, along with completing courses on education at National College Leadership Development, Nottingham, AIC Singapore, XSEED School Leadership, Dubai and Professional Leadership Development Course, Australia.
He had been placed amongst the 51 New Millennium Edupreneurs in India by EducationWorld and featured in their anniversary issue in 2013. His other awards include:
