Courage is Essential for Life - Monika Vaishnav

Courage is the ability to control fear in a situation that might be dangerous or unpleasant. We all know that we all have some challenges; nobody in the world has a perfect life or happiness all the time. So, courage gives us hope to live and fight for ourselves.  Having courage doesn't mean we can go and hit anyone or we can do whatever we want. Courage is to have a positive energy that gives us the strength to face the challenges we have in life.

We need courage in many aspects of life. We need the courage to accept the truth and to stand by it, whether it is in our favour or not. A person needs lots of inner strength to accept his or her own mistake in front of others. It requires courage to start again after a failure in life, it is when we feel helpless. Sometimes, we have to decide in life, which can change our lives completely, and we can't do it if we don't have the courage to face further consequences.

Having courage doesn't mean a person is fearless, it means the person is ready to face it. It helps us to start believing in ourselves. It builds confidence in us. If we want to live a respectful life with self-respect, we can't live it without courage. It also helps us to smile and be happy in difficult times. If we take an example of the soldiers, it is their courage and love for their country, which helps them stand in front of our enemy and fight with them even if they know they may die.

How to Manage Anger - Monika Vaishnav

Anger is an emotion which you have towards something or someone. It helps you to express your negativity to some level until it is in controllable situations.  But, sometimes we see people lose their control in anger and do what they never supposed to do. It hurts others as well as to ourselves. Though it doesn't remain for a  long time if we are unable to manage it, it will bring more disturbance, spoil relationships and also take away our peace of mind. Sometimes speaking without thinking can make others also angry.

It is rightly said that in anger, our mouth works faster than our mind. So, the first thing which we have to keep in our mind is to think before you speak.  Second thing, whenever we are angry we must think about its result before we act. If we will think about the impacts of doing things in anger, it will help us to have patience. Third, we must have a habit of listening to others and self analyzation.

Fourth, we must develop the patience to handle any situation in life.  Fifth, if you feel extremely angry, leave the place, make yourself busy in something that helps you to get relaxed like singing, painting, drawing, listening to songs, etc. and talk about that thing later in a respectful way. Sixth, we should not talk to whom we are angry with, keep silence for some time or leave the place and when you feel relaxed then only talk to the person and sort out the things. Last and most important thing is forgiveness. We must learn to forgive people, it will automatically make us calm.

Happiness and Tolerance - Kusum Sharma

Values are very important for everyone because they help us to live a respectful life and play a key role in our overall development. Happiness is a sense of well-being and joy and helps in leading a satisfying life. Happiness for me is being surrounded in a positive and joyous environment. For example, if all the students near me are enjoying and happy, I feel happy.

If happiness is all around us than educators are better connected with children and as a result learning process becomes easier. Nowadays students are pressurized by the parents to excel in academics, leaving behind all other important things like sports, skills etc. which ultimately led them to live pressurized life at a very young age.

Educators can be a game-changer in this scenario by connecting with each student personally and create a healthy competitive environment as well as most importantly help them to find their passion. There are more ways to reduce their pressure like engaging them in skill, service and sports activities. If a person is happy then it's easier for him to be tolerant and can accept everything with patience. If a person is tolerant he will be respecting others opinion in spite of quickly judging them. There are a few ways to foster tolerance in students. Children should be felt special, safe and loved, and also by creating learning opportunities about a new place, people and culture will make them tolerant.

To create happiness and Tolerance in The Fabindia School, we teachers are connected with the students individually, respect their opinion and have given them to choose any skill activities through clubs and societies. And also lots of sports events are organised to foster tolerance in them.
