A Small Contribution to the Conservation of Environment - Byju Joseph

Generally, we can't understand the genuine worth of the environment. However, we can assess a portion of significance can assist us with understanding its significance. It keeps up the environmental equilibrium that will keep a check on life on earth. It gives food, sanctuary, air, and satisfies every human requirement, whether large or little. So it is essential to conserve the environment.

As a student, how can you contribute to it? Think about it. For instance, I will share a few things that you can follow and practice, which will contribute to the conservation of the environment.

Shedding of leaves is a natural process. It is one of the methods of plants to get rid of their waste products produced and prevent moisture loss in them. We are lucky that we have many trees in our surroundings which provide a refreshing and pollution-free atmosphere. The fresh air and the greenery around us help to stimulate our minds. There is no doubt about it. But the problem then arises is to dispose of the dried leaves properly. Walking over the dead leaf layer on the ground is like walking over a spongy carpet. But it is not safe. Dumping of leaves in one place is also not safe. Dry leaf piles are considered dangerous because they shelter rodents and snakes. The burning of dried leaves is not at all a good idea because it creates pollution. Instead, we can use other ways to utilize them in a useful manner. Compost making is one of the useful and profitable ways to dispose of them.

Dried leaves being natural compost, and the best soil fertility enhancer can be utilized free of cost. They help to retain soil moisture, help to protect against temperature fluctuations, help to lessen the growth of other weeds, add much-needed nutrients and fertilize the soil if used as compost. For this purpose, simply we have to pile up the dried leaves and spread some soil over them in our garden. When it turns into nutrient-rich black soil, we can use them for growing plants. In this way, we can create our own natural fertilizer (manure), which is far better than chemical fertilizers. We are trying to save our environment because when we dump them, they produce methane, which contributes to global warming.

As a solution, we can prepare pits, and these dried leaves can be put in them. Spread a net or mesh at the bottom of the pit. Instead of this, we can spread about 2 cm. thick layer of sand. Put a layer of dried leaves and spread a layer of cow dung. Thus a few more layers of dried leaves and cow dung can be made. Green leaves also can be added. Sprinkle a sufficient amount of water to make them wet. Cover it with an old cloth or gunny bag or grass. This will take five to six weeks for decay. If we add red worms to it, we can prepare vermicomposting. When the compost is ready, it can be provided to the growing plants in the garden.

Patience - Punita Chouhan

Patience is necessary for success. It is  said that " All good things come to those who wait."
If you wish to achieve anything of significance, we can not expect to achieve it overnight.  Patience teaches us to value the  effort & not just the success .
It is  a mistake to think that happiness can only be attained through certain achievements.

Patience takes time to learn. If you aren't born with it. You have to be able to trust & wait. Being patience brings peace of  mind .When we expect certain outcomes, we have no peace in mind for we set the standards extremely high.  If you  get  frustrated also, nothing  gets done expect your temper rises and  when you try to learn.

Something, you need to stay patient well because the same thing will happen to you and you will get no where. Some ways to be more patient are :
Just stop, catch the mind ranting that you shouldn't be in this situation.
Settle into the moment you might feel your body.
Go into your body with your mind's eye and find out how you know you're impatient.
If you  can  open any tightness, breathe into any clenching.

Hope and Friendship - Prakash Dangi

"Hope" the word is small but it's meaning is very large for our society. Everyone needs it, and almost everyone exhibits at least some measure of hope if they have made it as far as this day. Optimism is the faith that leads to achievement. Nothing can be done without hope and confidence. Stay positive and happy. Work hard and don’t give up hope. A good teacher can inspire hope, ignite the imagination in students.

Hope allows us to approach problems with a proactive, positive mindset, and increase our chances of success. It’s when life gets difficult that we need to utilize hope the most. we must keep in mind that hope is active, it is something we do rather than something we have. If you find yourself in a situation that you would like to turn to, get out and start doing something about it. Put some action behind your hope. For example;. Today we can’t physically go to school, so we started online classes. Starting days only 2-3 students joined the class but after some time the students increased.

It is only possible to have hope. Being a positive influence on the world around you will inspire and motivate people to stay hopeful in their goals. Sometimes we face difficult conditions then confidence and trust have been broken, only hope sustains us in our lives. Friendship can simply be defined as a form of mutual relationship or understanding between two people or more who interact and are attached to one another in a manner that is friendly.

It is a  relationship of devotion between two or more people where people involved have a true and sincere feeling of affection, care and love towards each other devoid of any misunderstanding and without demands. It is the purest form of relationship between two individuals with no hidden agenda.

It is very important to have a friend in life. Each friend is vital and their significance in known to us when certain circumstances emerge which must be supported by our friends. All of the different religion, caste, position, sex and age do not matter. Friendship is important in life because it teaches us a great deal about life. We learn so many lessons from friendship which we won’t find anywhere else. Friendship never leaves us in bad times. You learn how to understand people and trust others. Your real friends will always motivate you and cheer for you.

Similarly, friendship also teaches you a lot about loyalty. It helps us to become loyal and get loyalty in return. Therefore, there is no doubt that best friends help us in our difficulties and bad times of life. They always try to save us in our dangers as well as offer timely advice. The relationship between a student and teacher as the most powerful element in the learning environment as the relationship can affect how students learn, achieve, perform and develop. Honesty and patience both are important role play in a hopeful and friendly atmosphere.
