Reflection on a year of Transformation: By Sanyogita Dubey and Reeta Tiwari

Attending multiple learning sessions from Masterclass 2024 is a transformative experience for us.

We have gained many skills under the guidance of our mentors which enhanced our teaching learning process. We have learnt how to write creative blogs? How to be a good videographer? How to work in a podcast?  and How to be a good story teller? Blogging, serve a plateform to share teaching strategies, Classroom experiences or other insights.
These skills helped us in creating educational video for students which make our class more interactive and interesting and promote the student's to make their own videos and blogs.
Now we are able to think outside the box and bring fresh ideas into our classroom.
Masterclass has proven to be a plateform that not only enhance our personal skills, self esteem, our confidence but also revitalizes our teaching approach to resonate with modern learners. We would like to show our gratitude to all my mentors. And we are so privileged that we are the part of this learning session.
Thank you and Jai hind.

Dr Tazeen Siddiqui: New year...

Dr Tazeen Siddiqui
... Celebrate every moment ...

We make resolutions and get on a new day with hopes, dreams and aspirations.
We celebrate the most positive moments that we had enjoyed in the passing year and celebrate it with passion, happiness and lots of love.

We celebrate the last day of the year thanking God, smiling and enjoying every bit of it, why do we not celebrate every end of the day in the same way and enjoy every bit of moment of happiness that we spend in a day ,why don't we thank god for the beautiful moments we  enjoyed every day why wait for the last of the year to celebrate

Every day is a celebration of thoughts and moments that brought smiles and calmness at your heart.
The first sun ray that shines bright and enters your room to brighten the house with calmness and freshness of a new day, welcome it with open arms and lots of love as every morning is a new life and all that happened a day before is over the moment you sleep and every morning make your beautiful day with your amazing thoughts and actions.

Every day is special and every morning is beautiful to live it and love it.
#Live life with smiles and channelize your worries with hopes and dreams#

UK degree equivalence issue in India; New Bridge course solution & why it is still a half measure… one destined to fail

UK degree equivalence issue in India; New Bridge course solution & why it is still a half measure… one destined to fail.
At this time, some students desperate for a job in India with the government or to pursue PhD in India will have this new option of the bridging course but over a period of time this bridge course is bound to fail and there will be hardly any interest. A student who has studied overseas will not want to have spent money on something that will require him to come back and then do a further study…

This brings me to the thought that what India has decided as an option for UK degrees is simply because UK lobbied. It should have just made it an option for all the less than two year degrees from around the world and then it would have had more takers. The once it has no takers, the program will be dropped and momentum lost but UK degrees will then remain branded as inferior in content to the Indian degrees. Which is far from the truth, as we all know…

Nominee for President GAHN India - Ishita Khanna

This is our GAHN President.
Ishita is a young dynamic development professional and an Ashoka Fellow. Her experience of working at the grassroots and passion for the environment and mountains has been the driving force for both Muse and Ecosphere. She was also recently chosen as MTV Youth Icon for 2008. She is striving to improve life in remote Himalayan villages by building a green economy. In response to the region’s growing environmental degradation and threatened cultural preservation, Ishita has developed a collection of new income-generating and ecotourism opportunities designed to improve environmental management and promote the pursuit of more sustainable livelihoods. Her quest for striking a balance between human capitalistic progress & the sustainability of all life on earth has merged the region’s most marginalized communities with the market-based economy and created an incentive to conserve the region’s dwindling resources. She is, thus, paving the way for the region’s most isolated communities to retake control of their resources and retain primary ownership over them, proving that better environmental management can be a profound source of economic growth. For Ishita, the peace and quiet of Spiti is the life she likes and chooses to live.
