Implementing Productive Failure in this lesson reinforced my belief that meaningful learning occurs when children are given space to think, make mistakes, and reflect. At first, it was difficult to resist the urge to correct them immediately, but allowing the process of discovery led to a deeper, more lasting understanding. By the end of the activity, even hesitant learners were confidently using pronouns in their storytelling tasks. The classroom environment shifted from one of passive correction to active collaboration and exploration.
This experience strengthened my understanding that productive struggle is not a sign of failure, but a crucial step toward mastery.
