Handling Pressure - Nikita Rajpurohit

You might have come around terms like depression, stress, anxiety, or any other similar negative terms. You might have read many intellectual articles reflecting the reason behind these negative feelings, but the only key reason common in all of them is Pressure or Stress.

Pressures are of various types:-
Physical pressure
Emotional pressure
Psychological pressure
Psycho-spiritual pressure

Everyone is going through some or other kind of pressure. The pressure of academic performance, the pressure of earning a good living in society, the pressure of feeding family, the pressure of making your own life successful, etc. And the fact is that no remedy can help you escape the pressures in life; you have to fight daily with these pressures and overcome them.
Some people become a conqueror and win over these pressures, while others lose their willpower and kneel before them.

Students are handling mainly three pressures in life:-
To achieve great academic results
To chase their aim and work accordingly.
To balance their skills between academics and other practical skills.

Learning healthy ways to cope and getting the right care and support can help reduce stressful feelings and symptoms. The symptoms may be physical or emotional. For example, if you are emotional and nervous or have trouble sleeping or losing appetite, it can all be normal reactions to stress.  It's very much important to handle stress to live a healthy life.

Follow some tips to relieve yourself from the stress.
Take good care of yourself:- Eat healthily, exercise daily, sleep well and give yourself a break if stressed out.
Talk:- Talk about your feelings with your friends, parents, or the one you trust. Taking time to share your feelings and to listen and support others will go a long way.
Entertain yourself:- Watch a TV show, listen to music or podcast, watch a comedy show that makes you laugh.
Cook or bake something:- Just the thought of having something delicious to eat can bring you enough joy.

You can't feed your mind well if you don't feed your body well. So during this unprecedented time, let us support and be there for each other.  Stay fit, Stay healthy, Stay strong.

Thoughtfulness and Understanding - Nikita Rajpurohit

Thoughtfulness simply means stop thinking about ourselves (stop being selfish for a moment) and
then give that time to understand others. Doesn't matter if we could help them out or not but still act of showing concern and compassion can help a lot to comfort the other person. Whenever we try to understand another person, it's necessary to put our feet in their shoes and then analyse the situation because until and unless we don't visualize the situation from the other person's point of view, we might not be so good with our judgement sometimes. Kind thoughts reflect a kind person, for example, if you see a blind man crossing a road, put an effort to help him reach the other end. It's for sure that the blind man might be enough capable to judge the road and cross it safely but still what's bad in helping them to reach the other end safely

Understanding someone is an art and that art comes from love, emotions and strong relationship bonds. Different people see the world from different perspectives. In our society, there will always be misunderstandings between people and those people's reactions will differ. Some choose to groan and even get angry about the way that themselves or others are treated while some decide to try and do something about it. Understanding is very important for, building trusting, and having open relationships.  Working with your students to develop their understanding of others is a crucial aspect of empathy. Teach them to put yourself in the other person’s shoes. Here are simple steps for putting yourself in someone else’s shoes:

1. Think about what that person has going on in his or her life. If you don’t know, ask.
2. Think about how you would act if you were in that specific situation.
3. Talk to the person about the situation and find out why he or she handled it in that way.
4. Listen to them before judging.
To live a healthy life and maintain strong relationships, being thoughtful and understanding is very essential.

Hope and Friendship - Nikita Rajpurohit

Hope is the probability of a wish happening true. Every day we hope for hell a lot of
things, and at the same time, we lose hope for some of those things. Example:- We sleep daily by putting on an alarm with the hope of waking up the next day and making the best use of the other day, but what if someday, our breaths don't cooperate with our hopes and we never wake up for the next day. Hope you got a basic idea of how hope emerges and gets lost.

Every task we perform in our life lies behind hope. We eat with the hope of healthy physique, drink water with hope for proper hydration, vocal health and many more. In fact, even we breathe with a hope of the next breath of life. So we can say that everything is surrounded by hope in some manner.

Friendship, according to me, is a term that could never be defined in a statement. It is a feeling, it is a trust, it is a bond, it is something that's not created through blood relation only, it is something that you can rely on when you find yourself left with nothing. It is a term enough to build a strong bond within two souls. Even love takes a second place in hearts but friendship is always a top priority. It doesn't have a daily conversation and gets stronger and stronger with time.

And somewhere between both hope and friendship lies a deep connection. When you become friends with someone, it automatically creates a hope in your subconscious brain that this person now, is the person I could rely on and we both can be interdependent on each other. And when the hope is fulfilled, it ends up in a greater bond of a strong friendship. So hope and friendship are the two important values which give the inspiration to live our lives in the best possible way. Make your hope and friendship strong.
