Happy Teachers' Day - Manish Jaiswal

The birth date of the second President of India, Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, 5 September, is
celebrated as Teachers' Day since 1962, the year when Dr Radhakrishnan assumed the post of the President of India.
He was the country's former President, scholar, philosopher and Bharat Ratna awardee.

Teachers' Day is actually a celebration to acknowledge the hardship, challenges and the unparalleled role that the teachers play in our lives.
On this day, teachers and students report to school as usual but the usual activities and classes are replaced by activities of celebration, thanks and remembrance.

Qualities of teacher towards students

Punctual
Inspiring/Motivating.

Qualities of a student towards teacher

Attentive
Disciplined
Active
Ready to follow
Hard work
Eager to learn

No doubt, a teacher always saves the effort of a student in gaining success.
We should always follow the teachings of our teacher because the teacher has already gone through the way at which we want to run.

Using his experience we can protect our self from unnecessary failures or daily encountering confusions in our daily mode of working.

By following our teacher our destination seems to be more near in less course of time without the wastage of our efforts.

Responsibility and Cooperation - Monica Vaishnav

It is very important to be responsible in life. Responsibility means duties or the work. It can be official or non official. We have responsibilities towards our family, our work, our friends, our country and the whole community. We should fulfill our responsibility with honesty and willingness.

Responsibility makes a person punctual and dedicated towards his work. Sometime we see people becoming irresponsible in life, it is because either they are over pampered or people don't give them responsibility thinking that they won't do it properly.Giving responsibility is the only way to make someone responsible.

They may make mistakes for once or twice but slowly they will become responsible in life. The one who takes responsibility at the early age, becomes stronger and more successful in life. We should make children responsible by giving them small tasks according to their age. They should be taught to take care of their own things, do their work by themselves and take care of their dear ones and surroundings where they live. When they are in school, they must take care of school property and when they are at home they should help their parents and take care of them, how much they can. Fulfilling our responsibility, gives us inner satisfaction.

Cooperation is the essential part of any task or work to be given as a team. Without cooperation we can't achieve our goal. When we work as a team, we all have to help, support, guide, listen and understand each other. When a person becomes successful in life, there are many hands who support him to reach his destiny. None of the institutions could work properly without cooperation of the people working there whether it is school, hospital, company etc. For example, school is the true example of cooperation as to run any school properly, the teachers, Principal, children, management, parents, support staff, driver and admin staff cooperate with each other and work together to achieve a common goal which is overall development of the child.

Honesty and Respect - Monika Vaishnav

Respect can not be defined in one word, we can see respect in many things. Respect is giving values or admiring other's views even if they are totally different from yours. Respect is appreciating the differences. Every person should have self-respect for herself or himself. It helps us to maintain our dignity. We should have respect for our elders as well as for our younger. We can show respect for others by taking care of them, being polite and honest with them.

We can give them respect by listening to their opinions and understanding them.  We can't ask anybody to give respect, it comes with good deeds and good behaviour.

Honesty means being true to ourselves as well as others like friends, family, work etc. We should have respect for our work, that will make us punctual towards our work and will qualify it.

Honesty and respect are like reflections of each other because when we have respect for something, we become honest towards that and it doesn't matter, whether it is a person or work.  It also makes our relationship stronger. Same as if somebody does his work honestly, respect comes automatically.

We must motivate children to be honest in life and respectful towards others by giving them small tasks. We should set an example in front of them so that they can see and learn from us. We should encourage the children to speak the truth even if they are wrong and when they confess their mistake we must appreciate their courage and also correct them so that they don't repeat it and can avoid such lies.

Conscientiousness: Work to be Worth: Monika Vaishnav

As I believe in the quote 'Work is Worship' because work is the most important thing in our lives. Everybody does some or other work to earn and for their self-satisfaction. There is a thing which brings quality to our work with the time called conscientiousness.

Conscientiousness makes a person more responsible, punctual and honest towards his work. When we work hard and practice for a long time, it gives perfection to our work. Though setting a target and working hard for it is not easy but the result will always be fruitful. We all have some difficulties in our lives but how we deal with them, overcome them and manage to do our duty honestly, show our dedication and integrity towards our work. A teacher should set an example before children because they learn whatever they see around them.

A person must have patience and self-motivation to see improvement in his work. If we want to develop consciousness in our children, we must give them a task or work which makes them responsible and punctual. We should give them a chance to learn things from their own experiences. It will help them to learn things in a better way. There was a cooking activity in our school, where children of class V made sandwiches. In which they learnt how to chop vegetables. They came to know about the ingredients we use and how to make it. I was glad to see how happy they were doing everything.  Whatever they learnt during that activity, I think they will never forget it.

Ajay Vijayvargi: Speaking

Speaking is the most reliable way to express one's ideas and thoughts to the next person. Diction, which means the choice of words and their correct pronunciation and fluency, which means the ability to speak; these are the two components of a speech. A child can learn to speak different languages and accents if he/she is given a chance. They always try to learn whatever he/she is taught by repetition and imitating. If speaking is mixed with music is a powerful way of learning for children. Being well spoken by our conversation with them can help a child's fluency and thinking. Let the child think about what you speak. They'll start sharing their thoughts under the comfortable environment. They must be taught to see and think beyond, to question and challenge.
