The Lamps That Never Burn Out ๐Ÿต

Teachers are like candles—burning themselves so others can have light.

They guide, scold, inspire, and yes—nag a little too (all in the same period!).

And today, on Teacher’s Day, we celebrate that spirit—with flowers, speeches, and the occasional mysterious box of chocolates no one is quite sure about.

Some teachers truly shine. Their classes feel alive, their words echo for years, and their presence leaves footprints on our hearts, not just chalk dust on the board.

They are the ones who turn history into a story, maths into magic, and science into wonder. The ones who remind us that learning is not just about marks—but about curiosity, courage, and character.

It only takes one such teacher to change the course of a life.
We all remember “that one teacher” who believed in us before we believed in ourselves.

So today, when we say “Happy Teacher’s Day,” let’s mean it for all those who still dare to inspire, despite the system, the syllabus, and the stress.

Because education doesn’t thrive on numbers or ranks—it thrives on the spark of a few shining lamps who refuse to let their light go out.

To them, the true teachers, we owe more than words.
They don’t just teach lessons—they remind us how powerful one bright flame can be in a room full of shadows.

Happy Teacher’s Day. ๐ŸŒŸ

With gratitude for the genuine lamps of learning,

My Student, My Guide - Nibbrati Rathore

Image Manisha Khanna

A student to me is more than a name,
A reason to show up, to play the game.
A reason to dress, to stand up tall,
To learn, to grow—to give my all.

A reason to read, to stay up to date,
To be my best, to challenge fate.
A reason to pause before doing wrong,
For their eyes watch, both sharp and strong.

My dear student, I must confide,
I strayed from what was once my guide.
Not what my elders had hoped I’d be,
Nor what the books had planned for me.

But when I stood before your eyes,
I felt the truth, I realised—
You shaped the path I couldn’t see,
And made me what you wished for me.

Your teacher, your guide, your mentor true,
Yet deep inside, I know this too—
As much as I teach and light your way,
You teach me more every day.

Whispers of the Sky - Sharon

Inspired by reading Highway To Swades with Bhairavi Jani

In the realm where dreams take flight,

I find solace in a wondrous sight,

Up high, where sky and earth entwine,

A canvas of clouds, divine.

Gazing upon this celestial show,

As whimsical shapes freely flow,

Wisps of cotton, soft and bright,

Painting stories in purest light.

An artist's brush, the wind's embrace,

Crafting sculptures with gentle grace,

Silent dancers in an endless sky,

Captivating souls as they pass by.

A castle stands with towers tall,

Majestic spires reaching for all,

A dragon breathes fire with every gust,

Leaving hearts in awe and trust.

Beneath a canopy of pearly white,

Thoughts take flight, worries take flight,

Transcending boundaries, lifting the soul,

Clouds, bearers of dreams untold.

With every gaze, a new tale unfurls,

Imagination dances, creativity swirls,

Through wispy veils and boundless space,

A moment's escape, a timeless embrace.

Clouds, oh clouds, let me drift away,

In your embrace, I long to stay,

Unleash my spirit, let it soar and roam,

In the ethereal realm I call my own.

So, let us lie upon the grassy ground,

Our eyes locked on the heavens' profound,

And together, in this shared reverie,

We'll find the beauty of cloud gazing, endlessly.

The Importance of Good Manners - Punita Chouhan

Everyone praises good manners but few can practice them. They are medicines which
are good for every disease. Good manners are the sign of all progress in the world. They are the beauty and glory of our actions. Other qualities do not affect us so much as good manners do. Bad manners create evil beings. The wicked people who insult us are never liked by us. We must have regard for the opinions of others. That is a sign of good manners.

Man is the maker of his own date. He has a key by which he puts himself in dark or in light. If a man follows the evil things and becomes loose charactered he cannot improve his life and would be a burden on society, but if a man possesses good qualities, he can improve his life, society and the country and he can achieve his goal.

Good manners are the backbone of our life. They exert the greatest influence on the career of a man. A man of character is the key to the progress of society. Physical strength is nothing when compared to moral strength. We should build our character because it is a source of pleasure to others. Behaving well with others means having regard for their personality. Wealth gives us temporary luxuries but good manners and strong characters give us permanent happiness. Everybody in society will be happy to know us if we have a good character.
