Thoughtfulness and Understanding - Reena Gusain

Thoughtfulness -derived from the word thoughtful means deliberate thinking before doing something.  It means the quality of being considerate and caring for others and own self too. Thoughtfulness, in a way, characterizes the thinking power of an individual and also showcases his maturity level. Reacting to an unexpected situation in a thoughtful way will definitely give a positive outcome. On the other hand, if your mind is over-flooded with negative thoughts, values, and an approach in a haphazard manner will worsen the situation.

Even the golden rule of First Aid inherits in it the value THOUGHTFULNESS, i.e. to say ‘Make Haste slowly and carefully.                                                       

Understanding means being willing to forgive other people or be sympathetic because you understand how they feel. An understanding person has many qualities, he is a GOOD LISTENER, OPEN MINDED TO INDIVIDUAL DIFFERENCE & most important HE TRIES TO PUT HIMSELF IN OTHERS SHOE before taking the decision. Mutual understanding is the backbone of every happy relationship, so we must sprinkle it everywhere.

It is better to be called a thoughtful person rather than an irresponsible, reckless person. Thoughtfulness is not only a quality of being kind and thinking about other’s needs, but it is required for unwanted situations. I would also like to share a small incident of my life where I showed both thoughtfulness and thoughtlessness. Some five to six years ago, I received a call saying that the person is from the State Bank of India, Mumbai Branch. He said that due to security reasons, PINs of all ATM cards are being changed with immediate effect. Therefore they asked for my current PIN. In a state of thoughtlessness, I provided my PIN without even verifying that man. He then said a four-digit One Time Password will come to my registered mobile number, and I have to share that immediately. As soon as the OTP came I forwarded it. He acknowledged it and said my ATM is now safe. As soon as I disconnected the call, a thought struck my mind that SBI advertises that it never asks for PIN or OTP from any of its customers, so why don’t I verify the call. My face grew pale, and I became anxious to know the hard fact. At once, I called upon the SBI Customer Care and followed the recorded voice call wherein I was redirected to the customer care agent. The agent confirmed to me that it was a fraud call. I at once got my ATM card blocked; otherwise, I would have been bankrupt that day. So this was my state of being thoughtfulness. 

SBI CC suggested I file a case against that call to get punishment, and hundreds of people could be saved from falling prey to such calls. I was about to do that, but then I tried to put myself in his shoes. Though his deeds were wrong, I didn’t file any case, but for my near and dear ones, I shared a post on social media citing the incident so that they could be saved from such fraud calls.

The adventure of life is to learn and adapt. The purpose of life is to grow. The nature of life is to change, so inherent thoughtfulness and understanding in your life and make all the impossible things possible.

Friendship - Punita Chouhan

A person can share his happiness, sorrow and every kind of thing that he can share. Friendship can come from anyone and in any course of life. A father can be a friend of his daughter; similarly, a mother can be a friend to a son, a husband and wife can be friends.

True friends are always caring, loving, loyal, passionate, mildly critical and most importantly, trustworthy to their friends. Friendship is a relationship where friends listen to each other's problems and try to understand. These qualities make a friend a good friend. The person who cheats you talks behind your back and laughs at you can never be your true friend.

Friendship is never tied to the financial status of people. A king can be a true friend of a poor beggar, and a poor labourer can be a good friend of a rich industrialist. Lord Krishna was in an unconditionally true endearing friendship with poor Sudama. The friendship between Krishna and Sudama is a milestone for all of us. They were like soul mates. Their friendship was at a level where if someone hurts another one feels pain.

Friendship is good for your school-age child's self-esteem. Friendship helps children develop important life skills, like getting along with other people and sorting out conflicts and problems. Children with these skills are less likely to have social and emotional difficulties later in life. 

Friends can help you celebrate good times and provide support during bad times. Friends prevent loneliness and give you a chance to offer needed companionship, too. Friends can also increase your sense of belonging and purpose.

Better late than never - Kusum Dangi

Every person's nature and behaviour is not the same. Every human being also has different qualities. There were many scientists, many of whom were suffering from dyslexia, that means that even though they were really intelligent, but they could not express their intelligence. This does not mean that they did not express. They fought against it and overcame their problem.  

If you do not succeed in life, if you fail the exam once, then you should not give up; instead, you should try again.  Next time you can get better success than before. Accept defeat, and you should work hard again without giving up, you should not change your goal by looking at the problems, but you should change your ways of working hard by finding the reasons for which you are failing, which can lead to easy success.

Always try hard like the spider who at last succeeded in weaving his web. The tortoise took up the challenge against the hare and slowly and steadily won the race. So, don't give up, it is better to be late than never.

Quality and Love - Innovators BHIS

Once, there was a boy named Kushal who studied in Grade 8. He was very loud and

notorious child. He never listened to any of his teachers nor did he listen to his parents. Everyone was fed up with him. Everybody also thought that he was worthless but, his art teacher knew his plus points. He could draw beautifully. He could do watercolour paintings better than anyone else in the school. This was just one of his qualities. He also knew how to write beautiful poems and letters and essays. Nobody knew about these qualities of his but his art teacher knew about those because one day she had seen him writing a poem and had read it in secret without telling him. She had actually loved reading it. And in case of his paintings, she was the one who inspected those. So, she took an oath, to make him a boy as good as qualities. Once, in the art class, she announced that there was going to be an art exhibition. Each one had to contribute watercolour paintings to the exhibition along with a piece of their own writing.

They also had to be on their best behaviour. Everybody started laughing as soon as the latter was announced. They were laughing at Kushal. They thought that being on best behaviour was impossible for him. He accepted this tease with a smiling and grinning face but in his heart of hearts, he felt very bad. He thought that his naughtiness had resulted in him being made fun of. He took an oath to be the best-behaved child in the class. He also decided to show his qualities to the whole school. He wrote a very thoughtful poem for the occasion and drew a mind-blowing picture in connection to his poem. 

When the great day finally arrived, he was very tensed about his drawing and poem. He thought they were not good enough. But to his surprise, the chief guest started to call out the names of the people who had ranked in the exhibition and had the best behaviour throughout the programme backwards. He was just erasing the possibility of his coming first when his name was called out in the first position! He could not believe his ears nor could his classmates believe what was said. But, his art teacher was very happy for him. She had hoped from within that he would get the first prize. After the award ceremony, his art teacher called him aside and told him that if he could nurture his qualities with love and care and if he would fix his behaviour like he had done that day, he would go a long way in life. He completely understood what his teacher was saying and vowed to listen to her. He became the most polite child and everybody in the school knew him by his works from that day onwards.

Hope and Friendship - Ajay Vijayvargi

In today's world, each one of us comes across situations when we need some help or support, which person/persons come to your mind first – definitely your FRIENDS who are hope in the day. A Friend in need is a friend indeed.

Each one of us has friends, but it is difficult to have/find true friends. Each one of us have a different definition of a friend, let us some of them – he is a person who understands us, makes us feel good, trustworthy, not judgmental, always keep in touch, listen to us when the world has left us, keeps communication uninterrupted and clear, accept you like yourself. Though it is difficult to find all qualities in a single person even if he has few of these in him, he will be our friend - our Hope in life. Whenever an incident happens to show our solidarity and our concern we light candles (Nirbhaya case) similarly when we light diyas on Diwali we do it to show our hope to remove the darkness of ignorance, fear etc. Hope can be our map to success, making our journey easier, helping us to cope up with stresses, it will help us to ignore hardships and sufferings, and give us inspiration, motivation and a mindset to achieve our goals. It helps us in making our lives better and is the essence of life. One we choose hope everything is possible, it is a belief that things will be alright and a small ray of hope helps us to fight immense darkness. Simplicity and Trust - Bharti Rao

Simplicity is when you are less complex. If you're less complex then you will be able to communicate with others effectively. Learning comes when you're simple and this leads to creativity. Simplicity helps to create a learning environment and also helps us to connect with our students. There are many personalities who are down to earth and so are recognised.  

If you're simple then you are understandable and this helps you to gain respect and trust. A culture of trust should be built-in schools. Trust is a part of healthy relationships. Educators who are responsible for nurturing the students should be simple in their dealings. An educator should always listen actively to their students, then the only trust will be built between them and the student will share his desires, pain to his teacher.

Empathy and motivation by a teacher help the students to trust their teacher. Trust is a common factor in schools where relationships between the students, parents, teachers and community are built. We show our trust in Students by giving them responsibilities. This helps them to inculcate leadership qualities and build relationships. Respect everyone's opinion, provide opportunities to others and interaction helps to build trust. The Importance of Good Manners - Punita Chouhan

Everyone praises good manners but few can practice them. They are medicines which

are good for every disease. Good manners are the sign of all progress in the world. They are the beauty and glory of our actions. Other qualities do not affect us so much as good manners do. Bad manners create evil beings. The wicked people who insult us are never liked by us. We must have regard for the opinions of others. That is a sign of good manners.

Man is the maker of his own date. He has a key by which he puts himself in dark or in light. If a man follows the evil things and becomes loose charactered he cannot improve his life and would be a burden on society, but if a man possesses good qualities, he can improve his life, society and the country and he can achieve his goal.

Good manners are the backbone of our life. They exert the greatest influence on the career of a man. A man of character is the key to the progress of society. Physical strength is nothing when compared to moral strength. We should build our character because it is a source of pleasure to others. Behaving well with others means having regard for their personality. Wealth gives us temporary luxuries but good manners and strong characters give us permanent happiness. Everybody in society will be happy to know us if we have a good character.

Punctuality - An Essential Habit: Byju Joseph

Today I would like to share the importance of punctuality in our life. It is considered as one of the noble qualities which need to be possessed by everyone. It is the habit of doing things on time. There is a proverb that says, “A stitch in time saves nine.” It means that doing things on time prevents us from unnecessary problems. Punctuality gives discipline in our life. A disciplined person always gets appreciation and social acceptance. Punctuality removes laziness from us but it needs certain sacrifices.

There is another proverb which says “Time and tide waits for no man”. Certain things should be done at the appropriate time. It may be the golden time to do it. Later we will not get the chance and that may lead to some future worries. Certain tasks we can complete very easily when the time is favourable. As human nature, we may postpone certain things but it may be very difficult to do the same things when the time is unfavourable. Time does not wait for anyone. We have to wait for it. When the time is favourable we must act promptly.

We all should be punctual in our everyday life. Every student should practice a habit of punctuality.  We can easily understand that punctuality is the basic quality of a person to be having a good personality. People who have become great in their lives are very punctual. Punctuality is the best policy for success. It will help us to achieve our goal. So be punctual in our life and it should be our motto.

Leadership

Leadership is an important core value to be inculcated in the students by the team of Educators in schools, so as to make leaders and not followers of the society and the nation.  The most important aspect of a leader is to guide and direct others to reach a common goal i.e. to lead a team, group, community, religion, organisation or a country. It is often said that leaders are born but some become by choice or circumstances, which means everyone has a hidden potential to be a leader – all one needs is an appropriate opportunity, a vision, the ability to dream and the determination to realize the dream and to achieve the set goal. 

The various qualities a leader should have can be summed up as – a leader should be a good thinker – he should be able to think new ideas, create a vision and find out means of fulfilling them. Next, the leader should believe in teamwork, take out time to listen to the views and ideas of others and accept the ideas that are suitable for the mission, this makes him a good listener also. Then he will be able to plan out the strategies and allocate different tasks to different teammates according to their abilities and training and then keeps an eye on the progress of the work and keep motivating his teammates, which does not mean that he does not do anything himself but make others do, instead he leads by example and is a role model for others.

A good leader is a tireless worker, with endless energy and has qualities like- simplicity, humility and compassion. They are people who resist temptations, follow rules and regulations and show exemplary discipline of body and soul. Leadership is practised not so much in words as in attitude and in actions.

गुणवत्ता ग्राहकों द्वारा परिभाषित होती है !

यह एक कटु सत्य है कि किसी भी वस्तु की गुणवत्ता और उपियोगिता उसके ग्राहकों द्वारा तय की जाती है ! 
इसी वाकय को हम सकूल से जोड़कर देखे तो कह सकते है कि बच्चे ग्राहक है, वे ही अध्यापक की गुणवत्ता का परिचय देंगे !
अधयापक को अपने ग्राहकों के संतुष्ट का पूरा ध्यान रखना होगा ! उनकी न्यूतनम उम्मीद पूरी करना, बालको को विविधता प्रदान करना, हर पल  आनदायक बनाना,कुछ अतिरिक्त देने का प्रयास कर उनका ध्यान आकर्षित करना आदि लक्ष्यों पर काम करना होगा !

विध्यालय की गुणवत्ता बढ़ाने के लिए जरूरी है की विध्यालय प्रशासन, शिक्षकों और शैक्षिक कार्यकर्मो में  तालमेल  हो  |कक्षा में वातावरण बनाये रखना जिसमे शिक्षा के साथ अन्य गतिविधिया भी सिखाई जाए | पाठ्यपुस्तक के अलावा भी बाहरी ज्ञान दिया जाए,  बच्चो की ग्रहण क्षमता के अनुरूप ही पाठ्यपुस्तक पर कार्य किया जाए |
