Making Others Happy - Prerna Rathod

The foremost important thing to make others happy is to be happy with yourself first. Because, if a person is not happy with themselves, they won't be able to make anyone else happy. It is well said that happiness comes from within. So try to make yourself happy, cheer yourself up. For that, you should not hold any grudges or feelings of hate in your heart for others. Spread happiness among all. Forgive people not because they deserve forgiveness but because you deserve peace. Happiness is a state of mind. If you think that you are happy, life will give you more and more reasons to be satisfied. I recall an excellent quote which says:

"What we think, we create.
What we feel, we attract.
What we imagine, we become."

Not only this, if someone is happy because of us, it will, in turn, make us happy. And that is the magic of happiness. Happiness does not lie inexpensive gifts or surprises; it lies in the small efforts put by others for us. To make others happy, we need not buy them expensive gifts. Instead, we put in small efforts like knowing how their day was, asking them about their problems and insecurities, understanding their silence, not judging them, and being there for them whenever they need us.

Happiness is a vast word that can be achieved by small efforts. I recall an incident from my life. I was travelling on a bus. I was sitting near the window. After two stops, an old lady climbed the bus. The bus was packed, and there were no empty seats. The lady looked tired, and she had difficulty standing. Seeing her condition, I felt terrible and offered her my heart. She was surprised, but she sat on the seat. Then she thanked me and had a big smile on her face. She blessed me and was very happy. Seeing her even, I felt comfortable, and I, too, had a smile on my face. Thus, making others happy gives us happiness.

Unity and Caring - Richa Solanki

Unity means being together. It means standing together and to work together as a team. Unity is a very important message that every parent should spend time or share with their children and also should tell about the relevance and need for unity. They should set an example by creating a healthy environment at home where everyone loves in coordination with each other. We also see that there is a fight or struggle on the basis of the individual issues of people without the unity, they cannot even understand that unity gives us strength and strength gives us intellectual food to live peacefully as well as connected with all.

In earlier times, people in the joint family were connected with their relatives. Our country is full of tradition and culture of staying together and helping each other is a part of our culture. Joint family is the biggest example. Those systems have prevailed in our country.

Unlike modern time in the past the families did not only live together but also bonded well with each other and staying united helped them in many ways.  Caring is when you think as and do something good for someone because it is the right thing to do. When you care for someone it shows love and caring for others it is wonderful and nice. We are caring for anyone, it builds feelings of love and strong relationships. Caring helps to connect with people and develop empathy in difficult times.  Caring for others is so powerful because it creates deeper bonds and supports emotionally. Caring also develops the feeling of personal growth because when we care we just gain so many skills from experience.  It also teaches important values such as patience, understanding and loyalty that benefit individuals in both their personal and professional lives.

Our mother, father, teachers, grandfather and mother, they have many challenges to take care of things and life gives them many tasks to complete. So, caring for someone will teach some new things and values of life and help us to live our life with happiness. Sharing is caring. If we share love, happiness, sorrows and many emotions and try to help someone it makes you a good person.

Responsibility and Cooperation - Kusum Sharma

Doing our duty properly without any excuses is the responsibility and working together to the
same end is cooperation. When we stop blaming and complaining about others and we do our work with confidence, in this situation we actually show responsible behaviour.

I experienced an incident regarding these values. I was given to teach Social Science in class X, which is considered the naughtiest class in the school. When I started teaching in the classroom I found few boys were not at all interested in the topic and tried to disturb others in one or the other ways.

For a few days, I observed the children and tried to recognise the students that were disturbing elements in the class. I discussed with a few of my colleagues and we all together started giving them the responsibility to look after younger children in all the occasions happened in the school. It was a wonderful experience for me that when students were given responsibility they all worked together with cooperation and did the tremendous work for the discipline of the classes.
