Contributions towards the Country - Monika Vaishnav

This year we have celebrated our 74th Independence day. Many of us put posts on our social media status and wish each other on the occasion of National festivals. That is one of the ways to express our love and respect towards our country but don't you think action speaks louder than words. Yes, we should do more than that to contribute to our country. We should be expressive in both words and action. Sometimes, we should ask ourselves a question, 'What is my contribution towards my country?, I know we all can't be soldiers or corona warriors but still, there are many things which we can do to make our country a better place.

We can contribute to our country by paying tax on time because this money is used for the development of our country, by doing our work honestly, by helping needy one, by following rules and laws, by raising our voice against wrong, by taking care of the public property, by educating ourselves as well as others, by making difference in others life,  by being unselfish, by protecting nature to reduce pollution, by supporting equality, by understanding both our rights and duties, by creating a happy environment etc. Our soldiers are protecting us day and night by sacrificing their lives, so can't we put these little efforts for our country.

We really need to think about these things. If we want to see India in the list of developed countries, we have to put our efforts towards it, it is not only the responsibility of the government, and we are the key factor who can bring huge change if we really love our country. These days our Prime Minister Mr. has talked about a vision ' Aatma Nirbhar Bharat' to make a self-reliant country. As he said, Vocal for Local’ we all should also contribute towards it and encourage local business and work on quality products.

Simplicity and Trust - Sharmila Vijayvargi

Simplicity is the quality of being simple and uncomplicated. In other terms, it also implies purity, clarity and beauty of thoughts. Being simple is a virtue to anyone. When we look around ourselves, we find many people, but we call only a few as "simple". This is because simplicity has to be developed. One needs to understand the target of one's communication and accordingly uncomplicated and simplify things. For a teacher, this value is even more important.
Teacher plays the most important job of shaping the future of the nation and hence, while in the classroom or otherwise interacting with students, a teacher needs to be very clear in his/her thoughts and convey even the complex of things in a simple understandable manner and that's when he will be regarded as a great teacher. Not only a teacher, but every successful individual is also an epitome of simplicity. For eg; Mahatma Gandhi, very clear in his thoughts, simple in his living and very strong and bold in his fight against injustice. While simplicity is a great virtue leading to effectiveness, it also helps to develop and build trust among people. One who is simple and doesn’t unnecessarily show off will attract respect and trust from everyone around and as we all know trust is the building block of every relationship and most importantly, the relationship of a teacher and student is also based on trust. Lastly, continuing with the example of Mahatma Gandhi above, it was his simplicity which led the entire nation to trust him and it was the trust of his fellow nationals that helped him walk the path of injustice and emerge as a warrior without weapons. Honesty always wins Respect - Bharti Rao

Honesty is not just about telling lies, but it is about being true to yourself and others. Honesty empowers us and promotes our openness. Honesty is a value which brings admiration and respect for you. If you are honest everyone will trust and believe you. We all are familiar with the saying, ‘Actions speak louder than words’. We need to be honest at our workplaces and show our integrity towards the management, staff and colleagues. We should always respect the emotions of others and lend an ear to others.

Communicating honestly and directly with one another helps to create harmonious and respectful relationships. If you are honest and respectful towards yourself, then only others will know that you understand what respect is. There are many instances when our students, colleagues and support staff exhibit their honesty and we respect them for their value.

During the pandemic period, Jeevaramji and Tejaji kept the school intact and thriving by honestly giving their services. Their love for the environment made them the real warriors of COVID-19. We respect them for their honesty. Bhavesh Choudhary from Class X volunteered for Scout and Guide Service Project. He distributed masks at his Village Lunava; these masks have been made at home out of his pocket money. We respect his family for encouraging him. I end by quoting,’ Respect is earned, Honesty is appreciated, Trust is gained, Loyalty is returned.’
