Lord Michael Hastings CBE's words, 'Justin is an exceptional educationalist with the sharpest insights into learning, the highest level of emotional intelligence and an astute global perspective. He is a person of the highest integrity, and it is an honour to work with him'. In the podcast Justin shared his passion for empowering young people, they need to find you 'Who am I'; ' Why am I here'; and 'What is it I bring to the world'. Teachers need to prepare for a journey to discover the inner self, they must help young people prepare for uncertainty and give a perspective of human development to education.  When we address the challenges of learning and education, it must be people first and processes later. This alone will help us focus on building the skills and competencies that help people grow up with the right attitude and behaviour.

Alex Bell "I am passionate about Education..

Listen to the Podcast

An award-winning leader in creative education and leadership strategy at school, local authority, national and international level. International facilitator and conference speaker.

Episode # 60: Sandeep Dutt in conversation with Alex Bell, Director of www.PortlandEducation.co.uk with over 2,000 hours of leadership coaching experience and six years of bespoke vision-to-strategy consultancy for schools in the UK and globally. He was named Hundred’s global ambassador of the year for 2020 and is co-founder of non-profits www.Xtalks.org included in the HundrED global collection 2020 and www.LinkOnlineLearners.org included in the OECD/HundrED Covid-19 solutions spotlight. He is co-founder and curator of www.Our-Chance.com, the world’s first free online film festival about education futures, co-founder of global innovation www.Leadership-Lemonade.com and runs leadership development programmes for schools on and offline throughout the year. Alex shares how he grew up in harmony with nature, daydreaming in the countryside, and still claims to have the childlike simplicity in him! He feels that like Picasso was very clear, we need to unlearn and keep it simple, a futurist must do that. There is the need to be simple and clear and he loves the way, Sir David Attenborough in A Life On Our Planet shares the need for harmony with nature and peaceful co-existence, as the first step for saving the world, which is crumbling due to the rampant industrialisation and human consumption. There is the need to reinvent an organic model for learning, if the child does not feel the warmth of relationship, the child will perhaps put the village on fire. Love and Fear are two diametrically opposite ends, and we must all work to build relationships, this alone is the meaning of education.

Hanna Dudich "I am passionate about Education...

Listen to the Podcast - Learning Forward Saturday 9th January 2021

Episode #59: Sandeep Dutt in conversation with Hanna Dudich a teacher of English and a vice-principal at Taras Shevchenko Himnazia in Kropyvnytskyi, Ukraine. She has been teaching for 20 years. She is a Country Lead and HundrED Ambassador, a PenPal Schools Ambassador, a Microsoft Innovative Educator Expert, a Nearpod Certified Educator, a National Geographic Certified Educator, a Scientix Ambassador, a NAYTEA STEAM Ambassador, a SIMA Teachers Award 2020 recipient. In 2017 Hanna became a Global Teacher Award top 50 finalist and a Global Teacher Award Ambassador, which allowed her to connect with education leaders. Hanna shares how she grew up with limited resources, the role her teacher played in helping her explore the wider world in a country that was very much not connected with the world, tourist did not frequent Ukraine as they do today. She grew up doing a lot of reading and writing, got an opportunity to go on an exchange as a student and get a first-hand feel of what she describes as a 'culture shock'. Today with the world getting smaller due to better communication and use of technology, we can virtually experience how life and living differ in other countries.  Hanna grew up with a teacher who had a great world view, they got magazines in English to read, listened to music in English and made penpals. Today she communicates with people with the use of Zoom, email and even travels. The idea of her teacher to invite visitors and the scant foreign tourist to the class for discovering how people live in other parts of the world may now seem alien!
