Fear VS Courage- Sunbeam Bhagwanpur School

Fear is a natural part of life. It holds us back, makes us doubt ourselves, and keeps us in our comfort zones. Fear whispers "what if" in our ears, making us question our abilities and second-guess our decisions. But courage sets us free. It pushes us to take risks, challenge ourselves, and pursue our dreams. Courage makes us stand up for our beliefs, even when it's hard.

Tom Vs Jerry - Sunbeam Bhagwanpur

Teenage boys who tease girls often believe they are being playful, funny, or even “cool.” They might see it as harmless fun, a way to impress their friends, or an attempt to get attention. However, what they fail to realize is that their words and actions can be hurtful, uncomfortable, or even damaging.

This behavior can stem from immaturity, peer pressure, or a lack of understanding about respect and boundaries. Some boys may not even recognize the impact of their teasing, brushing it off as a joke, while others may intentionally use it as a way to assert dominance or mask their insecurities.

True confidence and maturity, however, come from treating others with kindness and respect. Instead of trying to gain approval through mockery or teasing, real “coolness” lies in being empathetic, understanding, and standing up for what’s right.

Affection vs. Rejection - Ranjana Singh

It's a memory I carry vividly in my heart—a tale of contrasts that shaped who I am today. I was once a cheerful, carefree girl, full of life and dreams. But life has a way of testing us, and circumstances often mold our personalities in unexpected ways. At home, I constantly found myself being compared to my elder sister. My parents, in their quest for perfection, often criticized me, measuring me against her achievements. They scolded me for not being as good as her, and I felt invisible, yearning for their approval.

In my desperate attempts to gain their attention, I did everything I thought might please them, but nothing seemed to work. Amidst this rejection, schools became my sanctuary. My teacher, Ms. Poonam, saw something in me that I couldn’t see in myself. She encouraged me, celebrated my small victories, and believed in me when I felt most unworthy. Her affection became my anchor, her words a balm to my wounded spirit. I found myself more at peace in school than at home, and her love and encouragement gave me the strength to keep moving forward.

With time, her unwavering support began to reflect in my actions. Slowly but surely, I improved in my studies and grew more confident. My parents, noticing the change, began to acknowledge my efforts and love me for who I was. The acceptance I had longed for finally came, but the scars of childhood rejection remained. Even today, the pain of those early experiences lingers, a bittersweet reminder of how deeply rejection can wound a child’s heart. Yet, it is Ms. Poonam’s affection that I remember most vividly—the affection that empowered me to overcome my sadness and embrace my potential. As a teacher now, I strive to emulate her in every way.

I know there are children out there who, like me, feel the sting of rejection in their lives. I strongly believe that affection can surpass rejection and that a kind word or a gentle hand can transform lives. I make it my mission to offer the same love and encouragement to my students that Ms. Poonam gave me. Through my journey, I’ve learned that affection is the antidote to rejection, a powerful force that can heal even the deepest wounds. We all have the power to offer this gift to others, and in doing so, we create a world where everyone feels seen, valued, and loved.

Fear VS Courage - Sunbeam Bhagwanpur

Fear vs. Courage highlights two contrasting yet interconnected emotions. Fear is like when your heart races, your palms get sweaty, or you feel shaky before doing something that scares you. Fear can impact a person’s life in both positive and negative ways.

Negative:
1. Physical Health leads to chronic stress, high B.P., sleep deprivations, tension, fatigue
2. Anxiety and Depression decrease self-esteem, panic situation
3. Fear can lead to avoiding situations or activities

Positive:
1. It increases awareness, can sharpen focus, and helps people to stay alert.
2. Fear is a natural, subjective feeling; there is no place for objectivity in it. Everyone has this feeling at some point in life.

Courage can be used to handle fear. People believe that courage is the absence of fear. But I think that courage is not the absence of fear; rather, it is the ability to deal with it.
Courageous people do feel fear, but they can manage it. Courage is the willingness to act despite fear.

Finally, fear is normal, but courage is what helps us grow.

Affection VS Rejection - Mohini Rai

When we, as a teacher, every year meet to a new class full of 40 student then we not only meet with each 40 students rather we meet 40 families, 40 environments, 40 surroundings! I as a teacher strongly believes that it is very important for a teacher to understand that particular child among those 40 students, who has come from unhealthy disturbed families.

When a child grows up in normal family surrounded by friendly environment ,it actually helps the child to develop into mentally and physically healthy and strong. The child gradually develops into a balanced personality. Sometimes due to any casualties or incidences, when the family goes through any trauma, it also affects the little child’s psychology and it's development. And somehow these little children and their thoughts get ignored by the family. Under such circumstances the child develops an unbalanced personality and starts showing rejecting and repulsive attitude towards people in the society.

It is not necessary that all the children shows the same symptoms. Each individual behaves differently. This phase of their life becomes very crucial because they need affection and acceptance. In absence of affection and positive acceptance such children start showing various behaviour such as hyperactive- unstable behaviour and also sometimes destructive mindset. If we as a teacher try to talk to such children, initially they don't make eye contact because they try to hide their hidden emotions because they know that if they will do so the whole truth through their eyes will just flow in one go.

I still remember an incident when it was an assessment exam and in the creative writing question one child has shared the incidents of losing his mother during the COVID. When I got to know this then I tried to talk to that child and I found that child was like was about to burst into tears and tears and tears. His poor father was unable to take care of him and hence have left him in a boarding school. Although the child had adjusted in the school very well but his blank's face and teary eyes were clearly expressing the deep sorrow of child's heart. I as a Pastoral teacher told him that I am always there to listen him whenever he needs to talk to me.

Hope and Friendship - Visionary JMMS

Hope is that value in life that never lets you stop believing.

When the journey of life is going through the dark tunnel, hope is that spark of light at the end, which keeps you moving forward despite the hardships. It helps you to believe that there is a new morning after a dark night.

Friendship is a quite strong bond. It is a beautiful relationship that you have chosen. Friends are the ones who help, correct, encourage, motivate, inspire, influence and guide you. They have the magic to fill happiness in the darkest of times.

"A friend knows the song in my heart and sings it to me when my memory fails ".
- Donna Roberts

This is a true story of a teacher. Her friends came into her life when she had lost all hopes; they believed in her and helped her in her dream journey. The friends became the light of hope in her life's dark phase and remained by her side. She eventually became what she always wanted to be. The story tells us, let your hopes and not your hurts shape your future.

Simplicity and Trust - Triumph DGS

A GOLDEN TRIANGLE: SIMPLICITY, TRUST, HAPPINESS

Life is really simple but we insist on making it complicated – Confucius

The word ‘simplicity’ seems very simple but it is much more than that, somebody said it very right that – if one wants to really talk about simplicity and trust you need to look through the eyes of a child.

I know a person; maybe you might also know her. A girl who didn't let the child within her die and is a child by heart. She is not a philosopher or a legend, she is as common as we are – she is Geet Dhillon of ‘Jab We Met' movie.

Surprised??

Sometimes it’s the smallest things that take up the most room in your heart- Winnie the pooh.

Geet-whose child within made her real, a girl with a simple approach towards life. I love when she says,

“Jo kuch insaan real mein chahta hai, actual mein, use wahi milta hai”

BUT WHAT IS SIMPLICITY?

It’s a quality:

-        Which lets you to be what you are.
-        Which helps in focusing what is most important to you.
-        Keeps you connected with your roots, make you generous and calm..
-        Makes you down to earth person.
-        Makes you believe or trust yourself
-        Gives room to breathe.

 And Geet had them all...

Simplicity is such a quality that gives birth to TRUST and true ETERNAL BLISS. This 10-letter word has immense power, which can make one’s life filled with meaning, a life full of love, friendship, generosity, care, trust and happiness.

Here sharing a TRUE STORY inspired by a small girl who explains -how Simplicity  Happiness and Trust go together and makes a GoldenTriangle.

But it is really sad that as time passes, we get busy and then busier; when and how our hand slips the child (simplicity)within, that even our heart doesn’t come to know.

Let’s keep this child alive.....

  - Meditate as it brings inner peace and self-awareness.- We and our life stories, all       are unique hence no comparison.

         - Keep yourself connected with a beautiful gift of God -NATURE. And surely you’ll be one step ahead in keeping and maintaining the simplicity on its own true level.

     -  Giving gifts or time to the people or to the organizations when and where needed.  As a gesture of giving is a symbol of love, care and selflessness which in return will give you soul satisfaction and be REAL.

At last I would conclude with these amazing lines of Seline Shenoy…..

“Adopting simplicity doesn’t mean giving up all the material possession and retreat to the Himalayas. Rather simplicity is expressed in how we function, how we think, behave, live and make choices. Simplicity does not depreciate the values of life but makes it more accessible.”

Believe me, people will not tag you if you are SIMPLE, in fact, they will admire you and say- There is great beauty in your SIMPLICITY!

It's never too late - Kusum Dangi

Courtesy Source: croninsta.com
It is said that there is no age to dream, it takes just a little time to achieve them.

By the age of 15 -17 years, it seems that it is still small, focus on studies. It seems to be 21, think about the career of 30-32, it seems that dreams are being left behind and they are getting 45 years old. Now, there is no age to dream nor to fulfil them.  But the truth is that there is no age to fulfil dreams. Where one more of the example of Barack Obama who retires at the age of 55, while the other is Donald Trump is 70 years old at the age, as he started his term as the President of America, it is most important to have faith in yourself. If we believe in ourselves, then we can fulfil our dreams at any time, just be encouraged yourself that yes I can do it.

Trust and Simplicity - Kavita Devda

Trust means  "To believe".  If you believe in something or someone, then you should have confidence in them. To gain someone's trust we must be believable so that they will have confidence in our ability to keep up our word.  Simplicity means being simple. We should observe simplicity in life and believe in simple living and high thinking. We need to be simple, sweet, polite and humble while talking to others. We should never lose our temper. We can take simple and nourishing food to keep our body healthy and fit. We should be simple while selecting our clothes and wear according to the environment and seasons.

A short incident happened to my nephew who lives in Bengaluru.  His name is Suresh and he is an electrician. He leads a very simple life with his family. In January 2020  his uncle became serious in Rajasthan. He booked a tatkal train ticket and boarded the train on Monday evening at 5.30 pm. He was alone travelling and his family was in Bengaluru itself.  Next to his seat, four more passengers boarded the train after 2 hours.  They saw that  Suresh was alone and wanted to become friends.  They offered tea and some snacks to Suresh, but he did not have as they were strangers to him. After some time they were having dinner. They offered to him also but he refused to have as he had his own tiffin with him.

At 10 pm those passengers started playing cards game. They told Suresh to join the game.  Anyhow he was alone so he thought it might not be risky to play with them and soon he joined them. By 11.30 pm they all became good friends and enjoyed playing and discussing their destinations. By next morning they became so close that they started sharing their family matters. On the same evening, those four passengers after the dinner planned a trick and bought cold drinks for everyone. They added something in Suresh's bottle but he didn't know about this.

By 11 pm almost everyone went to sleep. Suresh also slept and he fainted. Soon these four passengers removed the gold chain, earrings, finger ring, watch and his purse and took them.  He had some cash in his pocket. They took that and got down to the next station at 1.30 am in the night. Next morning at 6 is when Suresh woke up and saw all these things and complained to the police about this incident.  He said that it was my mistake that I trusted those strangers. So always be careful before trusting someone while travelling alone.

Self Love – Be You- Swabhi Parmar

As humans, we are keen on wanting more. We think that if we buy that house or if we earn
more money, we will be the happiest. We shall ask for nothing more. Believe me when I say that I have said it to myself every time I wasn’t content with what I had. We think all our worries would go away if only we could achieve that target. But we fail to realize that the moment we achieve that goal we will come up with a new goal. We will convince ourselves that this will make us happier.

This is a vicious and never-ending circle. Let me tell you what self-love is. First, it’s about being content. It’s about telling ourselves that we have more than enough to go on. Life is all about ups and downs and we should embrace it equally. We have to know how to keep it together anyway. Self-love is when we are keener on making better decisions and nurture our well-being despite what is going on around us. Loving one’s self does not mean developing a shell and blocking out the world. It doesn’t mean having an ego so big that no one else can fit into a room with you. It doesn’t mean forgoing relationships because you only enjoy being with yourself.

And, while it may be tempting for many, it doesn’t mean you should only have pets for the rest of your life. It does mean becoming comfortable with who you are. It means recognizing that someone else who didn’t learn unconditional love has a hard time giving it. It means recognizing that most human beings hurt, and they pass this hurt along to other people. Understanding this can help you turn yours from waiting and wanting someone to make you whole, to realize you have that ability inside of you. Self-love is a very important aspect of one’s life. It is very much important to love yourself but Yes don’t be obsessed with yourself. Self-love leads you to self-motivation. You can realize it in the cycle of life that whatever we go through in the end it is us who have to deal with that pain or sorrow. We should always be content and love our self in the best possible manner.

Courage and Patience - Engaging Minds BHIS

A stumble may prevent a fall.

COACH ME
and I will learn
CHALLENGE ME
and I will grow.
BELIEVE IN ME
and I will win.

Magic happens when you do not give up, even though you want to. The universe always falls in love with a stubborn heart - J.M. Storm.

Albert always grew with the thought that only children with good grades are successful in life. Albert's performance was always the best, he was brilliant at academics,  Now Albert was heading to high school. Along with this, grew the expectations of all his teachers. Albert began to feel nervous. Each day built new pressure on him. It was like a mountain of expectations that he was unable to hold up. He couldn't confide in anyone. He lost his self-confidence. His courage disappeared in a blink of his eye. Needless to say, his performance began to suffer.

Ms Daisy, a middle-aged teacher who had always observed Albert since his childhood, was puzzled by this sudden display of low self-esteem. She approached him. She understood the underlying issue and showered him with her continuous encouragement and personal attention. Days turned into weeks. With a lot of patience and perseverance, Albert gathered courage and decided to attempt his final exams. And there he was - topping the rank list. His happiness knew no bounds. He couldn't thank Ms Daisy enough. This combination of courage and patience teaches us to not give up in life despite the situation.

The Patience to wait for the right moment and the courage to accept whatever you encounter are the two hardest challenges in one's life!!!!!

“COURAGE DOESN’T ALWAYS ROAR. Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying ‘I will try again tomorrow’”

Suresh Negi: Believe in Yourself

"Once we believe in ourselves, we can risk curiosity, wonder, spontaneous delight, or any experience that reveals the human spirit."
