Be a Dreamer - Prakash Dangi

Everyone has a dream in his life which they want to achieve when they grow up. Some kids want to become rich to buy anything ande want to be a doctor, lawyer, or engineer. But only you know that for achieving these goals, you have to work hard and stay attentive to them. In this essay on my dream, we will discuss the basic things that will help achieve my dream.

Some dream requires time, and they follow a process without following it you cannot achieve that dream.

1. Staying Motivated
Lack of motivation is one of the main causes that force a person to leave his dream behind. So, staying motivated is also part of the goal. And if you can’t stay positive, then you won’t be able to achieve the dream. There are many people out there that quit the journey of their dreams mid-way because they lack motivation.

2. Keep Remembering Goal
For completing the dream, you have to keep your dream in mind. And remind this dream daily. There come hard times when you feel like quitting. At those times, just remember the goal. It helps you stay positive. And if you feel like you messed up big times, then start over with a fresh mind.

3. Take Some Breaks
Working towards your goal does not mean that you work day and night without stopping. Apart from that, due to continuous efforts, people soon start to become de-motivated. So, taking a break will help your body and mind. For doing so, take a break in between your schedule for some time and Take Some Breaks.

4. Don’t Hesitate to Make Mistakes
We human beings fear making mistakes but e forget an important point that is a mistake that that helps us learn. Whenever you make a mistake, you face a tough time, but these tough times helps you to polish yourself and be more determined.

Believe in Yourself - Swabhi Parmar

We could all do with a little more self-belief. Well, that is because: Nothing can be done without believing in yourself first.
True, they are a lot of factors that will contribute to your success but the biggest factor that will determine whether you achieve something significant or not is self-belief.

How much of what you will achieve will mostly depend on how much you believe in your abilities. And yet most of us, me included, often lack self-belief during the times when we need it the most.

Rather than having unshakable confidence, we often allow doubt and insecurities to easily shake our resolve and make us believe that we are not capable of achieving whatever it is we have set out to do.

I can clearly understand why that is the case, we all do something wrong quite a number of times in our life span and this will make us question our abilities. We know it and we have been told so on numerous occasions. But then again, we also do a lot of things right too. And this is a fact that we often forget. We all have shortcomings and strengths but most times on our journey in life, our brain will choose to believe the negative, the shortcomings, and the anxiety and so on instead of choosing to believe in our natural ability to overcome all our obstacles. And because they may have failed or are currently struggling to succeed, people will often point out your faults and constantly remind you of your failures. Couple all that with jealousy, it will be very hard for you to find someone who genuinely believes in you especially if you do not have any record of public success.

It is no wonder why most of us are lacking in self-belief. But, as stated earlier if you won't achieve anything worthwhile: You have to believe in yourself first before anyone else ever does. And you have to do it more than anyone else ever will. A lack of belief in yourself will limit you no matter how great the ideas or opportunities are that you are exposed to.

Fortunately for us, believing in yourself is a skill that can be learned. The only catch is that ‘it takes time’.
Here are a few other reasons why you should believe in yourself first. It is the first step to success. How else will you take the first step towards your goals if you don’t even believe you will do it? The biggest most important questions that you will have to answer at the beginning of your journey are mostly about self-belief.

Am I capable of achieving this? Can I really do it? Can my idea really work? Once you really believe that you can do it, you will find a way to make it work. You will navigate through all the problems and get up when you fail. No idea will work for every person on the planet, but many ideas can work for most people … if you believe that you can make them work. You have to be willing to not just think differently, but to also to experiment with new ideas and trust that you’ll discover a way to make them work.

Believing in yourself is the first step to success.

Managing Your Emotions - Ajay Vijayvargi

Courtesy: Learning Life Skills by Goyal Brothers
Success in life does not depend on what you have but on the ability to manage your emotions, how you relate to others. It helps in understanding others, their feelings and handling relationships. Social competence will have the biggest effect on everyday life.

Emotions play an important part in memory, imagination and all mental activities. Like our IQ, we have EQ. It also involves thinking about how you feel. You become aware of how you feel just by thinking about it. EQ helps you in using emotions in achieving goals. They not only help in finding out what we feel but also what we want to feel.

For example, if you know that you are feeling very angry at the moment, you would want to control your anger. If you are feeling sad at the moment you would want to control sadness and try to be happy. If you are feeling lonely now, you would make efforts to find friends. What you want to improve in your present state of mind will become your goal.

Look around you and see how many facilities are provided to you today. But strangely the present generation is emotionally more troubled than the generations of the past. Children, especially teenagers, today are more troubled, more angry, more unruly and more prone to anxiety and worry. Why is it so?
Teenagers or adolescents need more grounding in emotional management.

It means you should have the ability to choose the right emotion for the right occasion. For example knowing when it is necessary to be more angry or less angry. Wise teachers and parents maintain calm, do not lose their tempers easily when dealing with rudeness, laziness or rebellion of their wards. They remain calm but assertive, cool but confident. It has a better effect on correcting an errant child. Their maturity has given them a balance, they manage their emotions. Thus, what is important is the emotional management and control over thoughts as it is the key to happy and successful life.

Happiness and Tolerance: Usman Gani

If we were to further reflect, we would understand that our happiness is always dependent on something so we are always in the process of seeking or striving for happiness. So for example, “If I get a promotion then I will be happy”, “If my children score good marks then I will be happy”, If I get my dream car then I will be happy”, if I get admission in this the university then I will happy” all these are conditional statements talking about a time in the future so we are always postponing our happiness. The constant striving, struggling, wanting, achieving, planning, regretting, disappointments, anticipation all these lead to stress.

Our brains are designed for happiness. In the brain, there are caregiving systems in place for eye contact, touch and vocalizations to let others know we are trustworthy and secure.

Training our brain through attention and awareness exercises takes it possible for us to think in a happier, more optimistic, and more resilient way.

Tolerance literally means tolerance; tolerance is the ability to tolerate behaviours and opinions other than one. Tolerance consists of a sense of coexistence. Tolerance in a positive sense means accepting and respecting the existence of those thoughts, opinions or religions etc. even if its views/opinions/religion is different from yours.

Everyone likes a tolerant person. Nobody likes being intolerant. Being tolerant is difficult, but not impossible. In case of any kind of tension, we should show tolerance. This will not increase the matter and the atmosphere will remain normal.

Like – Tolerance is not weakness: - Many people understand the meaning of tolerance as weakness. This will be called their fault. Many people are eager to answer brick with stone. This does not end, but increases. A round of accusation begins. Silent tension arises and the heat and tension of inexplicable prevalence in the environment. Only through tolerance can the atmosphere be relaxed and normalized.
