Making Others Happy - Bharti Rao

Happiness is the feeling of joy. This feeling increases when we show kindness and make others happy. When we achieve something, we become so glad because we have achieved our effort. We should always love others and spread happiness. If we love others, they will also love us.

Making others happy give us happiness.  These days there are so many different things that can make a person happy. People should focus on others happiness for a change instead of focusing on their own happiness. This will make the world a happier place. Birthday is the time to celebrate with friends and family. Also, it is the best time to serve the community.

Birthdays are unique to children, but not everyone can celebrate by participating in parties or gifts. My cousin wished to celebrate her birthday with the orphans. She visited the orphanage with her family, brought gifts and cut the cake with the children. The happiness seen on the children's faces really gave my sister immense pleasure in making her day.

Mother's job is selfless. She takes care of her family and loves them selflessly. She does everything to make them happy. Her happiness lies in her family. Community Service also gives us immense pleasure. Being a social volunteer is a blessed opportunity in itself.

I remember another incident of my student Laxman who decided to celebrate his birthday with the old age people. He visited the old age people and celebrated his birthday with them and made his day memorable. I would like to end by quoting the words of Mother Teresa, "Spread love everywhere you go. Let no one come to you without leaving happier.

Happiness and Tolerance - Agile Alphians

Happiness comes from good deeds. When we do something good for others without expectations, we get satisfaction; that joy is everlasting. When we behave humbly with all the people around us, we experience great pleasure. We meet numerous people every day, who look happy from outside but they are sad from inside. Many people think that if they become wealthy, they will be satisfied forever, which is not correct. Happiness is a state of mind. If you are at peace with your self, you will be happy.

Happiness comes from the inside; one can buy many things with money, but not happiness. Tolerance is also one of the essential things to live a healthy and prosperous life. But tolerance has a limit. We as a teacher feel very pleased when our students perform well in their studies and Co-curricular activities. We deal with unique students.

Happiness and Tolerance are co-related with each other. If we have tolerance, then we will obtain satisfaction. There was a boy Manoj, he a very naughty. He used to harass his parents and his brother constantly. Manoj was studying in class III. He never obeyed his parents. In school, he used to be very calm and composed. When his parents came to know through Manoj’s friends, they visited the school and informed his teachers about his home behaviour. One by one, all the teachers talked with him and told him to behave nicely with his parents. They told him to respect all the people around him irrespective of their ages. From that day onwards, he started acting well at home also. Thus, this story gives a strong message that tolerance leads to happiness.

We want to share one more critical and unique example. Nowadays, many people are getting vaccinated. When they take the vaccine, they have pain sometimes and fall ill for one or two days. But they tolerate the pain and suffering, but after two days, when they get alright, they feel happy. This example also shows us that Tolerance leads to Happiness.

Freedom and Peace - Swabhi Parmar

The word freedom refers to the possibility that every person has to make decisions regarding their own lives, yet with certain limitations. We have the ability to choose from a variety of options but at the same time, we must not jeopardize the freedom of others. Freedom of thought, opinion, creativity and faith are fundamental human rights which are found in the constitutions of numerous acts of international significance. Freedom in this context is not physical, but a spiritual creation, belief, thought and free manifestation. Every child has the right to express their opinions freely on all the questions which concern his/her life. So a child should not be the victim of the pressure of an adult, who would try to force him/her in order to influence them in their opinion or who would prevent them from expressing themselves freely. The freedom of expression for the children also involves their right to be informed. It is the right of the children to know what happens and to access information which interests them.  Freedom leads you to a peaceful and hassle-free life.

Every individual has the right to express freely and give his or her opinions freely to the community or society. A person has the right to be liberal in choosing whatever he or she wants to choose to make their life more peaceful and happy. Anyone who is content and happy then only they can be very productive and balanced in their workspace or in their learning process. Peace is the state of being emotionally and mentally at calmness in which there is no restlessness or disturbing thoughts, and being in control of your mind, moods and reactions. True inner peace is independent of external conditions and circumstances. It confers tranquillity, inner harmony and balance.

Peace is a very necessary part of humankind because it can give us the capability of good decision making and we are relaxed even when the situations don’t turn up well. A state of inner peace eliminates anxieties, fears and worries. It also removes negative thoughts, stress, lack of satisfaction and unhappiness. It is a state of emotional and mental poise, happiness, confidence and inner strength. Everyone desires inner peace, even if he or she is not aware of this desire. Few realize the importance and benefits of inner peace, and still, fewer know that it is a skill that can be learned. You can continue living where you are, without making external changes in your life, and yet, attain inner peace. Some might progress fast, and others at a slower pace. Some might reach far, and others not so far. However, everyone can gain, at least a certain measure of inner peace, enough to transform their lives. This is why it is necessary to make your heart quiet and peaceful as soon as it becomes troubled by something internal or external. Direct your intentions to the right subject and try to find out how to achieve a state of affairs when every action is done in the peace of state of heart, with pleasure and joy. In brief, preserving the peace of heart should be the constant effort of your whole life, and you must never allow it to be cast into the disorderly disturbance.

Happiness and Tolerance: Richa Solanki

Happiness is satisfaction comes from inner self which makes you feel good and happy. It can be helping someone who is in need and finding pleasure is happiness, experience a new things. When you choose happiness,  then you are attracted to all the happy things as well. You can't wait for circumstances to be better, you have to create your own willing.

School is place where students build strong interpersonal  relationships with the  teachers and learn to be  happy with their studies. Happiness plays a pretty important role in our lives, and it can have a huge impact on the way we live our lives. Happiness can be either feeling or showing, it means that happiness is not necessarily either internal or external experience, but can be both. Happy people are more productive and more creative, and its effect extends  all the positive emotions. To be happy, we should have tolerance also.

Tolerance is to accept others with their different qualities and views. We must respect and appreciate diversity we have to create a happy environment because without it, happiness can not be achieved.

Teaching tolerance is one of the best practices that helps people to live together in happiness . Teaching tolerance, peace, human rights, respect, cooperation, understanding, appreciation and human values have been one of the main educational and teaching activities of many educational systems.

Students always practice what they see, hear and they are taught in the class. It is important to make them learn to accept others who they are , instead of making differences and also correct them when they speak negatively about the people or other child because they are different from them. This will be helpful to make them think positive thoughts about themselves and others too.

Happiness and Tolerance: Manisha Deora

Happiness is a feeling or showing pleasure or contentment. This is what the children say
happiness is playing with friends, fun on holidays, listening to people and laughing, when someone smiles at you, playing with baby siblings, freedom to choose, being the star of the day, etc....

Every school must provide an environment to keep their students in a happy mind always. This mainly depends on the teachers who handle those students. We must appreciate their hard work. A student may be unhappy because of the following reasons, like a boring method of teaching or they did not get time to play.

‌‌We might  have noticed a thing with students where they feel very happy when the school bell rings at 3 or 4 p.m in the evening. They run like they have participated in any race to reach home. But when they come to school in the early morning, it is totally opposite. It is in the hands of the teachers to do the changes which they need in their students.

Tolerance is about appreciating that we all have different views and opinions. It is the ability, willingness or capacity to tolerate something. Sometimes, this makes children uncomfortable but through understanding tolerance, we can learn how to accept others even if we don't agree. An intolerant child may not accept the views, beliefs or behaviour which differs from their own. Ignorance and fear of other cultures, nature  and religions can lead to children developing poor attitudes towards accepting and celebrating an individual's self-worth.

So, we should teach children about tolerance and human rights. We should encourage children to be open-minded individuals who are curious and want to learn from others apart from themselves only.  We should try asking our children about various cultures, nature and religions, so that they can understand and appreciate the different views and opinions of other cultures and religions also.

Happiness and Tolerance - Monika Vaishnav

Happiness is a feeling that makes us feel good. It is something that gives our mind immense
pleasure and peace.  We can't find it in a particular situation, there are various things that make us happy. Happiness is when you are satisfied with what you have; you just live a happy life without making others unhappy. It is when you feel peace around yourself, without making noise in other's lives. Happiness is when you do something good or gain something with our hard work and you share that pleasure with others. It is when you live in the present without rogation about yesterday and worrying about the future. We also feel happy when we fulfil our responsibility honestly.

It is very important to be happy because being unhappy we can't give our best in anything. Our state of mind affects our behaviour as well as our work. As an educator, we must be happy when we enter the class because a happy teacher will spread happiness in the class, it will help in better learning outcomes. It is also necessary that the children are happy; otherwise, they will not gain how much they can. If a child is suffering from any kind of difficulty, we as responsible educators find out the reason behind his sadness and help him.  They are very innocent and full of life and find happiness in anything they love. Our little act of appreciation and care can make them happy too.

Tolerance is a willingness to accept the things happily which we generally disagree with. We all are different, so our way of thinking is also different that's why our opinions or views are also different. Sometimes, we face such situations in the class which we generally dislike but still, we respect every individual personality and handle things without getting angry or showing aggression, shows how tolerant we are.  We can handle things calmly only if we have patience and understanding. If we have the capacity to listen to other's views, we will be able to understand their views also.  We should teach children to respect and appreciate others views.
