Quality and Love - Jyoti Joshi

Quality refers to being positive and finding the best in others. It means how good something is compared to other things. Teamwork is the key to quality. Quality is never an accident. It is always the result of high intention, sincere effort, intelligent direction and skilful execution. It represents the wise choice of many alternatives. Quality is not an act; it is a habit. 

1.  A student who does a shoddy job:-

• Firstly I would meet with the student and try to build a friendship with the student. I will try to engage the student in the class activity to pay more attention and develop more interest in the particular subject. 

•   While developing a friendly relationship with the child, I will try to identify the difficulties they face while doing the work. 

•  I would also examine how they handle or keep their other things because their minds also affect them while keeping things. It elaborates on the situation that they are facing. 

•   I would make them draw beautiful cards that require calligraphy. By doing this, they would enjoy and will improve their writing skills at the same time. 

• I would make them take the right posture while doing or writing in notebooks.

"True aspirations generate a positive feeling in you and fire with enthusiasm. "

• Having said that, I would appreciate the child working in the class Or give chocolate or anything to take more interest in improving their work.

"Coming together is a beginning, keeping together is progress, working together is a success. " 

Love 

Love is a strong feeling towards something or someone. It's a mix of emotions, respect, and behaviour for the other person. Love can be defined in various ways. It can be the bond we share with our family members, friends and pets. Love is generally connected to a romantic feeling that we have for someone. 

2. 

    Student in a Romantic relationship:-

" It is said student life is golden life" Because in this time period, the character of a man/ woman is built; therefore, it is also called the Formative period of human life. Every student should try their best to make the best use of their student life. 

• I would approach the two students collectively and separately and make them understand the difference between "to like" and "to love" Someone's term. I would approach the girl as the girl is considered more mature and would make her understand the importance of studying and knowledge in life, and understand her about the stage where we acquire and identify our skills and goals in life. 

  

" The key to success is to focus on goals, not obstacles".

• I would make them understand the stages of life. That is a life everyone passes through a stage from being a student to an adult. So, this is a stage where you have to study and understand the world. You also come across a stage of loving others, but that comes after the student stage. You should not mix two stages together, because that would bring a Disbalance in life. Having a love relationship is a distraction to this identification.

Honesty- The quality of being honest.

Honesty means doing things that are morally right. When one is honest, it means they’re truthful, trustworthy, sincere, loyal and fair.
Honesty is one of the most important attributes in life. It gives you peace of mind where you’re not troubled by the lies you tell. By being honest, people will always trust and respect you. Besides, honesty strengthens bonds and creates more meaningful connections in relationships.

You really want to play with a friend's toy at your house so you slip the toy in your backpack and figure you'll put it back tomorrow.

Honest answer: Taking something that is not yours is morally wrong and dishonest. Asking to borrow the toy is honest.

Respect-The condition of being honoured (esteemed or respected or well regarded) It is the sense of worth or personal value that you attach to someone.

Yes, it is important that first you should respect yourself then you will understand the things why respect is important. Respecting yourself means giving and defining your own worth and value as a human being. Think about this: if you do not respect yourself, it will be more difficult for you to respect anyone else. So it all begins with self-respect.

Respect is one of mankind’s most noble sentiments. The highest levels of respect are always earned – never given. This is true of self-respect as well as respect for others. Before granting the highest level of self-respect or respect for others, make sure the person is worthy of honour.

Honesty and Respect - Punita Chouhan

Honesty is being sincere, truthful and frank. It helps us to be trustworthy and get lots of respect in life because honest people are really trusted by others. These people are always respected in their family and society. Honesty is the most remarkable expression of self-respect and other-respect, without any concessions to self-deception or other- deception.

Honesty is the foundation for our daily interaction with friends, students and other people. Whenever we talk with them, they feel happy and secure because it also shows a part of our good and clean character, so honesty helps to develop quality property in behaviour. Honesty is the quality of communicating and acting truthfully. As we share with students, the daily schedule may be in the class, in the playground, in the activities, in the examination time and at result time. It helps children to be stronger, better and independent people. It creates a feeling of joy and goodwill in one’s heart. For improving interest in these values, stories and plays are very helpful sources for us. This promise is about the choices we make and how we treat others. Acting with honesty is a very important part of being an honest person. We must always remember to tell the truth no matter how hard it is. We must also be respectful towards others, ourselves and property around us. To show we are always following this promise we must always listen in class, follow instructions the first of being asked and show respect to school by looking after our environment. Honest people never lie, cheat or steal. An honest person is a genius, fair with everyone, sincere with work, always speaks truth and loyalty. Honesty is a feeling of pride, self-worth and character. Some people who are known for their honesty like: - Martin Luther, Cochise, Barbara Jordan, Confucius, Raja Harishchandra and Mahatma Gandhi etc. These people always live in the heart of people. Simplicity and Trust - Penta BHIS

Experience 1
Of course, I know I am a slow learner! You think I have been blind to the little nudges, whispers and jokes around me? Or the frustration in the eyes of the adults in my life? But I do not give it much thought. It would make my life too complicated to handle. I live one day at a time, observing everyone. I also love it when the achievers get applauded in class! You must believe me if I tell you that I clap the loudest!

To a 15-year-old, like me, the Commerce Fest at School felt like a Carnival. The teachers made me realise that this would be no fun and games if I were to man a stall. I would have to be responsible! I did not think of all this. I love eating pizza; so, we had to have a pizza stall, whatever may be the teacher’s plan! 

My teacher did not try to dissuade me from my dream of having a pizza stall. But she did try to work out the costing with me. How could I buy these and sell them to make profits? Why would anybody want to buy pizzas that were more expensive than the shops? I had to make a profit so that the proceeds could be given to the village school, in Dahanu, I had visited a couple of months ago. I really liked that school. I had even made friends with some of the village boys there. Now, I truly wanted to help them. So, no pizza stall.

I spoke to some of the friends in class and then to the school cafeteria manager. I knew what I had to do. It was very simple. To make a profit, don’t do what you want; do what your customers might want! My food stall was in place. I would sell mineral water! I bought the bottles for Rs.12 each and sold them for Rs.15. So, returning change was not a problem. Another friend made lemonade and sold glass for Rs.10 each. All that I had learnt in class about cost price, selling price and profit margin – made so much sense! I ran to my teacher and asked her to check if I was making profits!

By the end of the day, I had to arrange for numerous supplies of chilled mineral water and my friend had to organise more lemonade. When the profits were calculated, my teacher incredibly, yet happily, declared, “Aman has made the highest profit for the school! Congratulations!” I knew I had her trust.

I also know that the nudges and whispers will now be about Aman’s strong common sense! Let’s call it business sense, shall we?

Experience 2

In a classroom of 30 students, each child is acknowledged to be unique in his/her special way. On one hand, there is Karthik, filled with the need for attention, flashing his expensive watch and earning the popular vote with his witty repartees. Contrarily, there is the naïve, humble and caring Dhyan. Since opposite values are complementary, one recognizes and appreciates both for their individual charisma and what they stand for.

On a busy Monday morning, Karthik was asked to distribute worksheets to all. He, deliberately, choose not to give Dhyan’s class worksheet as he wanted to copy down the assignments and complete his own patchy work. Dhyan, a sincere student, brought it to the notice of the teacher that he had not received his worksheet. The teacher, troubled that the worksheet might have been misplaced, replied that she would check for it as soon as she was free to do so. This was necessary as the date for assessments was close. After the dispersal, the teacher looked everywhere for Dhyan’s worksheet, but in vain. Karthik had flawlessly planned to return the worksheet the very next day, after photocopying it and then quietly keeping it on the teacher's table. He was successful in carrying out his plan.

The next day, surprisingly, the teacher found the worksheet on her table. She sensed that something was amiss and wanted to catch the mischief-maker. She asked the class if any of them, even as an honest mistake, had kept the worksheet on her table. There was no answer from the class.

Deciding not to raise a hue and cry over it, the teacher began to teach. She pretended as though nothing had happened, despite her suspicions. Fortunately, Karthik’s plan of deceit was flawless, as was his little heart. By the end of the day, he could no longer conceal the guilt he felt. He confessed to his misdemeanour to his teacher and profusely apologized to Dhyan. Karthik chose integrity, took the simpler path and gained the teacher’s trust in return.

                         

In the classroom what can be more fulfilling for the mentor-teacher than nurturing the little saplings – that will surely and steadily grow into shade-giving trees?

Honesty and Respect - Optimizers SHS

Joy Of Honesty

"Honesty" is the key to happiness and freedom.

Our elders have always taught us to be honest. Here is a short and true story of a girl named Arya who was a very shy, timid and introvert child. She was given a task by her teacher in the class to draw something and write about "HONESTY".

The task was very interesting for the other student, but it seemed, Arya was keen to do it.

The very next day, when the teacher collected the work given on the previous day, it was found that Arya's project was the best in the entire class. At that time, the teacher praised her hard work in front of the whole class. As the class was about to end, Arya came up to the teacher and spoke the truth that the project "HONESTY" was actually prepared by her friend.

By this, the teacher was overjoyed for her courage to come up and speak the truth. She became the role model in the class for her honesty, after which she became happy, loyal, sincere, confident and reliable.

Journey of Respect

Being respected by important people in our lives teaches us how to be respectful towards others. Respect means that we accept others as they are, as our relationship builds feelings of trust, safety and well being. We can show respect by being polite and kind, the value of respect is a part of every day's wisdom. It is difficult or rather impossible to respect others if we don't respect ourselves. As an educator at times, we face challenges of the students being disrespectful and dealing with them becomes a significant problem at times.

When a student is disrespectful to us, we have to be willing to lose the battle and remind ourselves that we will be more effective if we maintain emotional control. We need to stay calm and not react in that particular situation. Receiving respect from others is essential because it helps us to feel safe and express ourselves.

 Respect is earned.
Honesty is appreciated.
Trust is gained.
Loyalty is returned.

HONESTY

“Honesty is the best policy.” It is a common thought with the people, but they didn’t know the real meaning of this valuable word. Honesty is being sincere, truthful and frankness. It helps us to be trustworthy and get lots of respect in life because honest people are really trusted by others. These people are always respected in their family and society.

Honesty is the Foundation for our daily interaction with friends, students and other people. Whenever we talk with them, they feel happy and secure because it also shows a part of our excellent and clean character so, honesty helps to develop quality property in behaviour.

Honesty is a feeling of pride, self-worth and character. Some people who are known for their reliability like - Martin Luther, Cochise, Barbara Jordan, Confucius, Raja Harishchandra and Mahatma Gandhi etc. These people always live in the heart of people.
